Miserable farewell

Tears of farewell are heard at Hong Kong Airport every day, because under China's increasingly authoritarian rule, residents worry about their future and start new lives overseas, mainly in the UK and Canada.

Leung Man Hei was born in 1999 and grew up in Hong Kong. Studying Journalism and Communication at university, became a photojournalist, and worked for various local and overseas media, including Hong Kong Citizen Media, SYMedia Lab, NurPhoto Agency, etc. Leung has won local and international photography awards, including College Photographer Of The Year Award (Cpoy) , multiple International Photography Awards (IPA), Henderson Warmth Foundation Communication Scholarship (HWFCS) Awards, etc. Now an independent photographer, focusing on recording the current situation of society and developing a personal photography project.
