ALIZéE BAUER
Tangled Branches

In her series "Tangled Branches", after following her grandfather during a "hunting trip" in South Africa, eaten away by contradictions, Alizée began to question herself about the "I" that made her up, trying to understand how she built herself around this family, and the surrounding natural and social world in which she grew up.

This leads her to tell the emotional story of her evolution, overcoming violence and apathy, surrounded by what takes up the most space and plays the greatest role on her path, her family and nature.

Her photographs are slow to witness, dark and esoteric, she plays with poetry created in dark circumstances.
