MEMORIES IN HUES

This project was born in my childhood summer house — the last place that still holds the presence of my family. Everyone who lived here is gone, and every object has become a fragile container of memory.

Before leaving my country, I returned to this house and photographed it for the final time. I painted the walls myself, arranged the familiar objects, and let color speak where words could not. The scenes turned into quiet still lifes made of loss, light, and the traces of hands that will never return.

Color became my way to hold onto what time has already taken — to soften the ache of absence, to reconnect with rooms that shaped me, to let forgotten things glow for a moment longer.

Through these images, I search for the place where memory and imagination touch. I hope the viewer will find their own quiet corner of the past in these small, ordinary things that once carried comfort, beauty, or love — before they slipped away.

Using color, light, and texture, I transform simple interiors into expressive visual worlds shaped by personal history.
In my practice, I strive to create intimate and contemplative images that encourage viewers to recognize their own emotions and memories within these spaces.
