Liquid Lights
Liquid Lights
For a long time, I have felt a magical attraction to these places, yet for years I was unable to capture their true spirit. Thousands of photographs were taken—only to be discarded again and again. Until one day I asked myself: what is it that truly fascinates me? It is not the trees, the grass, or the rushing water that moves me. It is the reflections of light, the subtle interplay of earth, water, and brightness. This natural spectacle, unique to me, is what I seek to reveal here. With these images, I wish to show that the abstract forms of modern painting are already present—hidden in nature itself.

For me personally, it has never been about necessarily having to present distant, exotic places or photographing exotic landscapes. Just because a picture like this looks somehow “cool”, unusual or new. It's not the purely visual level that really interests me about photography.
After all, you don't go into nature just to look at "cool trees", but rather to be able to discover things that mean something and can give you something on a spiritual and emotional level. Because ultimately we see with our heads and not our eyes.
And so it is precisely these metaphors, these emotional and spiritual points of contact that I want to capture with my photography and show you. It's not just an attempt to photograph a "cool photo motif" as impressively as possible, but rather to create images that can actually mean something to you. To create images that ultimately show much more than just the reproduction of a given scene. Images for the head and not just for the eyes.
