As above, so below
As above, so below
In this three-image series, I explore the quiet tension between the cosmic and the intimate. Against a white, almost weightless background, I shaped these colorful, atom-like forms to express how I feel the world pulsing both around me and within me. As I created them, I sensed the same patterns repeating on every scale — the vast mirroring the minute — and it filled me with a deep connection. As above, so below became not just a concept, but an emotion: a reminder that I am part of something larger, yet built from the same fragile, vibrant energy that binds everything together.
Author
Recently, my practice has shifted towards abstraction as a language for emotion. Through texture, light, and form, I explore what lies beneath the surface of experience: memory, vulnerability, and the unseen tensions of inner life. Many of the feelings we carry are difficult, often unspoken, and my work seeks to give them space — not to solve them, but to acknowledge them. My images are not meant to describe reality, but to translate it, transforming inner states into visual presence and inviting viewers to sense rather than simply look.
