Flying Blue fox

Flying Blue fox: Before I went to Svalbard I was dreaming of seeing a blue fox , let alone photographing one … . Only 1 to 5 % of the Arctic foxes on Svalbard have this colour variation . I was able to make this close photograph in the abandoned Sovjet mining town Pyramiden . With this picture I want to show an intimate portrait of a hungry Blue fox , I want to show this curious and resilient nature of an extraordinary animal that is able to survive in such a hostile and barren wilderness. I have a lot of respect for foxes all over the world !
