Aerial view of Segovia, Spain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. Opposite, El Alcázar, one of the most famous castles in the world, in the Gothic-Herrera style, dating from the 12th century. Twenty-two monarchs have passed through its interior. To your left is the tower of the Gothic cathedral, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción y de San Frutos de Segovia, known as the Lady of the Cathedrals.
