Axel Görlach, born in 1966, is a street photographer and poet based in Nuremberg, Germany. His photography is rooted in the poetry of everyday life. He is drawn to fleeting moments in which the ordinary briefly takes on an unexpected form. His work has received international recognition, including Silver and Gold distinctions at the reFocus Awards, two People’s Vote Awards, and third-place honors at the International Minimalist Photography Awards in 2022 and 2025.
